Wilson is in touch

The 5th Congressional District is getting ready to vote in the August primary; we urge you to vote for Dave Wilson. As an Independent, Wilson’s knowledge of the 5th District is impressive. From larger cities to small towns, Wilson has gone out to the people to listen to their concerns. These conversations will not be forgotten.

Dave Wilson has made a pledge to accept campaign contributions of $500 or less from individuals and no funds from special interest groups or PACs. In the 2014 election, Cathy McMorris Rodgers reported more than $2.15 million was raised for her election. Over 80 percent came from outside the 5th District. This raises a question. Who does McMorris Rodgers serve, the people of the 5th District or the money sources from outside Eastern Washington?

Making contact with the people is paramount to Wilson. McMorris Rodgers’ contact consists of form letters/emails, polite office staffers and timely photo shoots during infrequent visits. Unfortunately, absenteeism is the status quo for her. Is she really hearing the concerns of her constituents?

Wilson is a man of principle and will be free of obligations to political parties. He will represent the people of the 5th District.
