Man dies when car flips on Highway 195

The Washington State Patrol is working to determine why a man’s car veered off U.S. Highway 195 and rolled Sunday evening, killing him.

Marc S. Yates, 57, of Nine Mile Falls, died in the one-vehicle crash at about 6:15 p.m., the WSP said. He had been driving a Toyota Camry south in the northbound lane of Highway 195 near Bradshaw Road, just south of Spangle, the WSP said.

Yates was not wearing a seatbelt, and it does not appear drugs or alcohol were a factor, the WSP said.
