WSU, Kansas State will meet twice in football

Washington State and Kansas State have scheduled a home-and-home football series, but don’t buy your tickets just yet.

The first game is scheduled to be played in Manhattan, Kansas, Sept. 12, 2026 with the return contest Sept. 8, 2029 in Martin Stadium.

“Kansas State joins Wisconsin as a Power 5 opponent that our fans can look forward to seeing in Martin Stadium,” WSU athletic director Bill Moos said in a press release. “Additionally, Boise State and BYU provide future regional home matchups which should be very appealing to our fan base.”

The two schools have not previously met in football. Earlier this spring the Cougars and Wildcats announced a two-game basketball series, beginning this fall.
