Too many casinos
In regards to Gov. Inslee’s approval of the Spokane Tribe’s $400 million casino: I think they should have gone to Libby or Missoula and purchased land to build their casino. Three major casinos is one too many for this area, especially since the Coeur d’Alene Casino is the only major employer in an economically disadvantaged location.
The Department of the Interior and President Obama need to review this situation, or perhaps the Coeur d’Alene Tribe should go to New York or Washington, D.C., and purchase land to build a new casino. And, don’t forget, when they purchase land it comes off the tax rolls.
