GOP should back voters

Regarding the March 6 article about George Nethercutt stating if Donald Trump got the Republican nomination, he would have to leave the mark blank when voting: As a former conservative Republican turned Independent, this is exactly what’s wrong with today’s Republican Party. They never do what they say they are going to do, and that’s why you’re seeing the voter’s revolt and the turn to Trump. Voters are fed up with the do-nothing Congress on both sides, as proven their lowest ratings ever.

I voted for George on his stance for term limits. Three terms, remember that? We all saw what a two-faced lie that was. Now Nethercutt and Mitt Romney try to tell people how to vote. He talks about integrity. How about looking in the mirror.

I have a surprise for him and the rest of the Republican establishment. We don’t care what they say. George, Mitt and the rest of the gang need to go back to their lobbyists and big corporate donors. George and the Republican establishment needs to support the voters, whomever the nominee will be. If not, they will see the end of the Republican Party as we know it, and maybe it’s time.
