Pastor Tim Remington released from Kootenai Health

Pastor Tim Remington, who was shot March 6 in the parking lot of his Coeur d’Alene church, was released Thursday from Kootenai Health.

Remington will spend the next three to four weeks resting at home while he gains the strength he needs to start physical therapy, said John Padula, outreach pastor at Altar Church, where Remington is the senior pastor.

“This is an important time of healing for him, so he won’t be able to have visitors,” said Padula. “His family is grateful for the continued love and support” from the community.

Kyle Andrew Odom, 30, faces a charge of attempted murder in Remington’s shooting.
