FBI continues investigation into Wells Fargo bank robbery

From staff reports

The FBI is following up on tips about a bank robbery last week at a North Division Wells Fargo, but has not publicly identified a suspect yet.

A masked man entered the bank around the 6 p.m. closing time demanding cash. He shot a man who charged him, trying to stop the robbery.

The FBI described the suspect as a white male between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, weighing 250 to 275 pounds with short black hair. Christian Parker, a senior resident agent with the FBI in Spokane, said that description led the agency to several tips they’re still investigating.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the FBI’s Spokane office at (509) 458-8100.
