Turtle story inspiring

In response to the online article “Massachusetts boy skips birthday gifts, gives to sea turtles,” April 22: It is nice scrolling through the newsfeed and being able to find an enlightening, nice story.

The article about Jasper Rose is inspiring. Birthdays are usually a day where kids gets to celebrate themselves, but Jasper focused on the sea turtles. Raising the money to help the aquarium and caring so much for the turtles, I hope Jasper knows he is encouraging people across the nation and raising awareness about the sea turtle endangerment.

As a younger member in society myself, it is reassuring to see other passionate children making a difference in their community. He is already so active in his passion for sea turtles. He is 6 years old and has already written a book and created a website on these creatures, and that is great. Jasper’s compassion and drive to help these animals motivates me to go out and help my community.

I am happy Jasper found his connection to giving back to the community through the sea turtles he loves. It is good to hear children making a difference in their world.
