One dead in Wednesday night accident in Wallace, Idaho
A western Washington man died in a car accident in Wallace, Idaho Wednesday night.
Larry Langolf, 74, was headed south on Frontage Road in Wallace around 7:10 p.m. and failed to yield the right of way at Front Street, a news release from the Idaho State Police said.
Langolf’s Chevy Celebrity was hit by a westbound Subaru driven by Brian Canterbury, 48, of Wallace. The Subaru hit the Chevy on the driver’s side door, the release said. Langolf, who is from Gold Bar, Washington, was pronounced dead at Shoshone Medical Center.
Canterbury was injured and taken to Shoshone Medical Center. He was wearing a seat belt when the accident occurred; Langolf was not, the release said.
