The Huskies (25-16, 11-8) led 1-0 after Jack Meggs’ RBI single in the top of the third.

UW pushed across a run in the ninth with a double and Trojans infield error, but its runner was stranded at first base.

Utah, at 11-7, holds a narrow lead in the conference race. The Trojans are 21-22, 10-9.
