GOP should get behind Trump

The leadership of the GOP needs to grow up. For years and years, (I started voting just after Ronald Reagan), they have been giving us weak, liberal, middle-of-the-road candidates, and we have had to hold our noses and vote for them.

They gave us both Bushes, who were both very liberal. They gave us Bob Dole, John McCain and Mitt Romney, and they were all born to lose. Look at the Republican speakers of the House and leaders of the Senate we have had. The only one who came close to being a true conservative was Newt Gingrich and they couldn’t wait to get him out. The House of Representatives has given Obama almost everything he wanted when we elected them to do the exact opposite.

Is this election about opposition to the leadership in D.C.? It sure is. Now it’s their turn to hold their noses and get behind the people’s nominee, Donald Trump, or face the very possible end to the GOP only to be replaced by a more conservative party where they will be marginalized at best.
