‘Queen of Swing’ show benefits Deer Park’s Fisher Theater

Jazz singer Julia Keefe sings swing-era classics from the Mildred Bailey songbook to benefit the Fisher Theater. Bailey, born in Tekoa, was a member of the Coeur d’Alene Tribe who moved to Spokane at the age of 13. In the 1930s she was the “Queen of Swing.”

When: Friday, 7 p.m.

Where: Deer Park High School, Fisher Theater, 800 S. Weber Road, Deer Park.
