Macklemore and Ryan Lewis are returning to Spokane this summer, kicking off a short tour of mid-size Washington venues at the Bing Crosby Theater on Aug. 23. It will be the first time that the Seattle-based hip-hop duo have performed in Spokane since playing the Arena in 2013.

This upcoming tour, known as the Camping Trip, will continue through August with scheduled dates in Yakima, Walla Walla, Enumclaw, Olympia, Hoquiam, Bremerton and Bellingham. Tickets for these shows went on sale Friday morning, and all eight concerts have already sold out.

Macklemore and Lewis’ sophomore album, “This Unruly Mess I’ve Made,” was released in February. The music video for its hit single “Downtown” was shot in Spokane last summer.
