LANGWELL, Toni Kay

Toni Kay Langwell was born May 28, 1959.

She was born and raised in the Spokane area.

Toni graduated from North Central High School, Class of 1977.

She kept in touch with many classmates, including several she had gone to school with since kindergarten.
In 1984, Toni had her only child, a daughter, Brea Kay, whom she lovingly referred to as “love bug”.

Toni loved being a mother and Brea was the center of her world.

Toni began working for the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services in the early 1990s.

She enjoyed her job, but even more, she loved her co-workers.

Toni was part of the DSHS family for over 20 years.
On May 12th, 2016, Toni Kay passed away after an all too brief battle with cancer.

She will always be remembered for her kindness, her sense of humor and her laugh.

Toni is preceded in death by her parents Kay and Mel Cummings.

She is survived by her daughter Brea “love bug” Nelson, grandson Dakota “Bug”, brothers Mike and Marty and numerous extended family.
A celebration of life will be held Sunday, May 22nd at 2pm at the Camden Grange, 21 Camden Rd., Elk, WA 99009.
The family would like to thank Hospice House North for their amazing care of Toni.

They were an absolute blessing.
