ELIASEN,
Betty Mae
“Grandma Friend”

On May 9th our beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother passed away at age 89 from complications of a stroke she suffered on April 24th.

She was born Betty Mae Barton on March 3, 1927.

She attended Libby Junior High and graduated from Rogers High School, class of 1945.

In 1946, Betty married Don Eliasen; they were married 57 years until Don’s passing in 2003.

In 2006, she moved to a beautiful apartment at Broadway Court Estates and enjoyed over 9 years of activities and friendships.

She was a world-class homemaker, a great cook, a friend to all and most importantly the BEST mother.

Betty and Don were dedicated fans of their two grandchildren’s sporting events and activities.

In her 20’s, she helped form two luncheon groups with her friends.

One, the Wednesday Wenches are still gathering regularly.

Betty is survived by son, Dean Eliasen; daughter Debbie (Steve) Schumacher; grandson Ian (Tracy) Schumacher, their children Berkley and Neely; granddaughter Malea (Josh) Cook, their children Deverie and Beckett, and many nephews, nieces, cousins, and dear friends.
