Spokane woman accused in stabbing following pizza-related argument

A Spokane woman faces assault charges after she allegedly stabbed two women who confronted her for throwing pizza out the window during a party.

According to court documents, Amanda D. Lipe, 23, was at a birthday party at a northeast Spokane home on East Bridgeport Avenue Thursday night. One of the hosts ordered pizza for the birthday party.

When the pizza arrived, witnesses told police Lipe threw a slice out the window for no apparent reason. Several other guests got into an argument with her over the pizza.

Witnesses told police Lipe went into a bedroom and returned with a knife with brass knuckles attached. She allegedly stabbed a woman in the shoulder and another one in the neck, court documents say.

Police arrested Lipe at a nearby intersection after witnesses from the party identified her as the suspect, court documents say. She was covered with blood, court documents say.
