DURHAM, N.C. – Duke says freshman center Marques Bolden will miss the top-ranked Blue Devils’ first two games with a leg injury.

Team spokesman Cory Walton announced the injury to Bolden’s lower left leg on Monday.

Bolden will miss the opener against Marist on Friday night and the second game Saturday against Grand Canyon, and will be re-evaluated after the weekend.

Bolden had 13 points and 11 rebounds in Duke’s first exhibition game but did not play in the second preseason game.

He’s the third member of Duke’s highly ranked freshman class who’s dealing with an injury. Forward Harry Giles is recovering from having his left knee scoped, and forward Jayson Tatum missed the two exhibition games with a sprained left foot.
