Leach doesn’t like proposal to limit off-campus practices

PULLMAN – Mike Leach credits Washington State’s annual preseason camp in Lewiston with forging the bonds and camaraderie that has caused the Cougars to buy-in to his program, which in turn led to their current success.

So, he’s not to thrilled about a Pac-12 proposal to bar schools from off-campus practices that occur outside a team’s regular playing season.

“It’d be stupid,” Leach said. “We’re the most over-legislated sport in the history of the world. Those guys need to go golfing and not worry about things like that.”
