Egging, graffiti reported in Liberty Lake

The recent rash of vehicle prowls has died down in Liberty Lake, leaving police officers to respond to traffic accidents, suspicious vehicles and an old-fashioned egging.

The egging was reported in the 700 block of North Molter Road just after 11 a.m. Nov. 1. The caller also reported graffiti at the scene.

In one of the suspicious vehicle reports, which came in near Harvest Parkway and Mission Avenue just before 10:30 p.m. Nov. 4, the woman had pulled over to use her phone. In three other suspicious vehicle reports, nothing was found.

Other calls from Oct. 31 to Nov. 7

Nov. 1: A caller reported seeing someone they suspected was a missing person in the 1200 block of North Liberty Lake Road. The surveillance footage of a nearby business was checked and it was determined that the man was not the one reported missing.

Nov. 2: A caller reported that a man in the area of Legacy Ridge Drive and Country Vista Drive was being disruptive and threatening to push over surveying equipment. Officers contacted those involved and determined no crime had been committed. Someone drove away from a gas station in the 22000 block of East Appleway Avenue without paying for $61.35 in gas.

Nov. 3: A gas station in the 22000 block of East Appleway Avenue reported the theft of $27.27 in gas.

Nov. 4: A woman reported the theft of a cellphone in the 22000 block of East Country Vista Drive.

Nov. 6: A resident in the 21000 block of East Country Vista Drive reported that a license plate was stolen off his vehicle overnight.

Arrests: Police made one arrest for driving under the influence.
