Glacier National Park visitation 20 percent ahead of 2015

WEST GLACIER, Mont. – Glacier National Park is on track to break last year’s visitation record by 20 percent.

According to October statistics, the attendance was up 5 percent in October and is up 20 percent overall, with an estimated 2.79 million people visiting the park this year, compared to 2.33 million this time in 2015.

The park officially broke its 2015 record of 2.3 million visitors in September.
