Key moment

The Bulldogs started 1-of-11 shooting and fell behind 6-2, but that would be their largest deficit of the night. A key jump shot and free throw by freshman Zach Collins ignited the Zags as they made their next eight field goals.

In the run of eight straight field goals, Killian Tillie hit a 3-pointer to give the Bulldogs a 12-6 advantage. Josh Perkins also hit a 3-pointer to keep the momentum with the Zags.

Offensive Player of the Game

At the start of the second half, Jordan Mathews hit three straight 3-pointers to null any momentum gain by the Aztecs coming out of halftime. He finished with 17 points, shooting 6 of 10 from the field, including 5 of 7 from 3.

Defensive Player of the Game

Freshman Killian Tillie led the Zags with 10 rebounds. Fellow freshman Zach Collins was tied for second on the team with eight boards. Both had three steals.
