Gonzaga-Bryant key matchups: Zags look to slow Bulldogs’ perimeter

Bryant, much like Utah Valley and San Diego State, offers another guard-driven challenge for the Zags. The East Coast Bulldogs lean on guards Nisre Zouzoua (16 points per game, five 3-pointers), Adam Grant (14.5 ppg, five 3-pointers) and Ikenna Ndugba (9 ppg, 4.5 assists). Bryant’s guards score in a variety of ways. Zouzoua and Grant combined are 10 of 20 on 3-pointers, but the rest of the squad is just 2 of 21.

Gonzaga will try to exploit its size advantage inside. Bryant’s tallest player is listed at 6-foot-8, but Marcel Pettway (6-5, 250 pounds), Sabastian Towns (6-6, 240) and Dan Garvin (6-6, 215) helped Bryant outrebound Notre Dame.
