BOULDER, Colo. – During Saturday’s game at Colorado, wide receiver River Cracraft was not on the field for the first time since sustaining a career-ending ACL tear against California last week.

He was in the press box, instead.

Cracraft was in the coaching booth with the WSU offensive coaches, helping the team by scouting the Buffaloes defense and providing analysis about plays and formations. Cracraft was on the phones with inside receivers coach JaMarcus Shephard discussing coverages and defensive schemes throughout the game.

In fact, Cracraft was the second Cracraft in the press box on Saturday. His older brother, Skyler, has been covering the team as a reporter since the beginning of fall camp.
