UW and WSU fans to come together at River Park Square’s Kress Gallery Tuesday to mix and mingle before Apple Cup

Despite the likelihood that this year’s Apple Cup will be the most competitive in recent memory, fans from both sides of the aisle are putting their differences aside and coming together Tuesday to mix and mingle in River Park Square’s Kress Gallery.

From 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m., alumni, family and friends can drink, talk or meet notable former Washington State University and University of Washington athletes who will be in attendance.

For WSU, Mark Rypien, a former Cougar quarterback and Super Bowl MVP with the Washington Redskins will attend;. for UW, former offensive tackle and Spokane local Rob Kuharski.

The event is free. There will be door prizes and Apple Cup trivia.
