Showers and windy in Pullman for Apple Cup

There will probably not be another Snow Bowl at the Apple Cup this year.

The 1992 snowstorm that changed the complexion of the rivalry football game is not likely to be repeated.

National Weather Service forecast models show a morning temperature of 36 degrees accompanied by a 67 percent chance of rain and southeast winds at 15 mph in Pullman.

The temperature should rise to about 46 degrees by 1 p.m. with a continuing 65 percent chance of rain showers with winds of about 10 mph.

Rainfall amounts during the daylight hours on Friday are estimated at about 0.10 inches, which is considered a light to amount.
