Spokane Braves lose at Nelson in overtime

Dale Howell’s second goal of the game, coming at 1:52 of overtime, lifted the Nelson Braves to a 5-4 victory over the Spokane Braves in a KIJHL matchup Tuesday night in Nelson, British Columbia.

Trail Thompson, Carter Jones, Elliot Plourde and Niko Corsaro scored for Spokane (6-21-0-0-1, 13 points). Jones, Corsaro and Paxton Jones had two points each for the Braves.

Cosaro’s goal came with 22 seconds left in the third period to tie Nelson (10-14-0-0-2, 22) and send the game into overtime.
