Partially naked woman accused of damaging fencing, buildings at Moses Lake Airport

A partially naked woman caused thousands of dollars in damage Wednesday morning when she reportedly rammed through a gate at the Moses Lake International Airport and broke into two buildings.

Idaho resident Crystal N. Sullivan was driving a Toyota Tundra when she drove through an unmanned gate at the airport at Andrews Street Northeast and 22nd Avenue Northeast, according to a Grant County Sheriff’s Office news release.

Sullivan then drove across the airfield and broke into the U.S. Forest Service’s firefighting air tanker base building, causing thousands of dollars of damage inside the facility, the news release said. She got back in her truck and drove to the nearby Genie factory, where she smashed through a security fence and drove inside the building.

She reportedly stole a golf cart before deputies found her partially clothed outside the Genie factory around 6 a.m., the news release said. Sullivan reportedly told deputies that she was defusing a bomb inside the Forest Service building, but no evidence of a bomb was found.

Sullivan was arrested on suspicion of second-degree burglary, first-degree malicious mischief and taking a motor vehicle without permission.
