1. 22nd Annual Oktoberfest 5 p.m. Friday, Q’emiln Park, 12201 W. Parkway Drive, Post Falls. Annual fundraiser benefits the Post Falls Historical Society and Museum. 7. Author Jeff Koehler 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Gonzaga University, Cataldo Hall Globe Room, 502 E. Boone Ave. American writer, photographer, traveler and cook will read from his works, including his most recent, “Darjeeling: The Colorful History and Precarious Fate of the World’s Greatest Tea,” winner of the 2015 IACP Award (International Association of Culinary Professionals) for literary food writing and the Gourmand Award for Best in the World for a tea book. After graduating from Gonzaga in 1991, Koehler spent four years in Africa and Asia before doing postgraduate work at King’s College London. 8. Theatre Organ Pops Concert 7 p.m. Thursday, First Church of the Nazarene, 9004 N. Country Homes Blvd. Presented by Spokane First Nazarene Theatre Organ Society on Spokane First Nazarene’s 1914 Mighty Wurlitzer pipe organ.
