1. The Head and the Heart

Seattle-based folk-pop outfit in on the road – minus singer-guitarist Josiah Johnson, at home in recovery for addiction – in support of the band’s third album, “Signs of Light.” The opening slot will feature Declan McKenna, the British singer-songwriter who won the Emerging Talent Competition at the Glastonbury Festival in 2015.

2. Spokane Symphony

“Northern Lights” will explore the influence of geography on the creative vision of composers from the far north, including Sergei Rachmaninoff’s second piano concerto, Jean Sibelius’ Symphony No. 5 after and Valgeir Sigurosson’s “Dreamland.” Eckart Preu, conductor; with guest pianist Inon Barnatan.

3. Emo Philips

The comedian has had award-winning comedy albums, several cable specials (including an hour-long one on HBO), and many appearances on network television, in both America and the UK. He has appeared in films (most notably, as the table-saw demonstrator in “UHF”) and has lent his distinctive voice to animated TV shows.

4. Ottmar Liebert and Luna Negra

New age Flamenco with Ottmar Liebert, one of the most successful instrumental artists of the past two decades, and his band. His must recent album is 2015’s “Waiting n Swan.”

5. Terrain/Visual Arts Tour

Spokane’s biggest art party returns. The annual one-night-only juried multimedia art and music event celebrates the region’s emerging artists. It’s held in conjunction with the annual Fall Visual Arts Tour, in which galleries and retails establishments open their doors for special art show.

6. Ralphie May
