Man found dead in north Spokane County may have died months ago

A man found dead in a home in north Spokane County Monday morning may have been dead for months, according to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were called on a the report of a body found in the home in the 3000 block of East Lincoln Road around 8:30 a.m. Monday. The Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death since the cause of the death is unknown.

Investigators believe the man lived an isolated lifestyle and didn’t have much contact with his neighbors, a Sheriff’s Office news release said.
