Two men arrested for shooting a woman in the head at Al’s Motel

Police have made two arrests this week of men suspected of being involved in a shooting at Al’s Motel on North Division Street in August.

The shooting was reported the evening of Aug. 21 at the motel, located at 1421 N. Division. Witnesses told police that there was an argument inside one of the rooms after three men came inside, two of them armed with guns, according to court documents. As they were leaving a woman just outside the room was shot in the forehead, according to court documents. The woman survived.

Investigators were able to identify one of the suspects as Alexander C. Stormy, 31. He is being held in the Spokane County Jail on a charge of first-degree assault on a bond of $150,000.

A second suspect in the case, 24-year-old Adam Rocha, was arrested on Monday and is being held in the Spokane County Jail on a $500,000 bond on a charge of first-degree assault. He is also being held on other charges related to a armed robbery at 204 S. Wall St. on Sept. 16.
