Retreat uses art therapy to treat PTSD

military veterans are encouraged to sign up for the fourth annual Spokane Veterans Healing Retreat hosted by the non-profit organization Warriors Heart to Art.

The retreat, scheduled for Nov. 2-6, uses art therapy to benefit veterans struggling with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder. Volunteer facilitators at the event will include veterans, social workers, psychologists and creative art specialists.
