Colville National Forest recruiting for seasonal workers

The Colville National Forest is recruiting for 50 seasonal workers for 2017 in northeast Washington.

Applications must be submitted online at www.usajobs.gov from Nov. 15 to 21. The hiring will take place in mid-February, with most positions starting between mid-April and mid-June. The seasonal work wraps up in fall.

The jobs are in fields such as firefighting, recreation, time and range management, archeology, fisheries and wildlife management. Some are entry level and other positions require up to four years of experience in a specialized area.

The positions available are in Republic, Kettle Falls, Colville and Newport.
