ALSC Architects of Spokane has promoted Indy Dehal to principal. Dehal has been with ALSC for 16 years and has experience in designing K-12, higher education, and sports and recreation facilities.

Construction

The Idaho Business Review has awarded first place in the Public Projects Category of the 2016 Idaho Top Projects awards program to the Kootenai Health East Expansion project. Bouten Construction Company led the construction process.

Education

Washington State University’s Elson S. Floyd College of Medicine has hired Ralitsa Akins as associate dean of faculty talent, recognition and enhancement and Dawn Cooper as interim assistant dean of medical student scholarship. Previously, Akins was with California Northstate University College of Medicine and Cooper was with the University of British Columbia.

Randy Suess has been named a recipient of the Washington State University Alumni Association’s Alumni Achievement Award. The award was given in recognition of his support of local and global wheat partnerships and agricultural programs.

Engineering

PacifiCAD has been named a Value Added Reseller for the Pacific Northwest region for Dassault Systèmes SOLIDWORKS software. The software aides engineers and designers in product design, simulation, publishing, data management and environment impact assessment.

Finance

Numerica Credit Union has promoted Greg Hansen to senior vice president of business services and Rob Stephens to senior vice president of finance. Hansen has been with the credit union since 2010 and Stephens has been with the company since 2012.

Health care

Touchmark on South Hill has been named a recipient of a 2017 Bronze NuStep Pinnacle Award in the Senior Living Division. The award is given in recognition of implementing a whole-person wellness model to promote environmental, emotional, intellectual, occupational, social, physical and spiritual wellness.

Insurance

Moloney O’Neill has hired Michelle DeMoss as an account manager and Matthew Maynard as a commercial account representative. Previously, DeMoss was with PayneWest Insurance and Maynard was with Safeco Insurance. In addition, the company has promoted Joe Klein to certificate coordinator.

Nonprofit

The Idaho Nonprofit Center recently named the recipients of the 2016 Idaho Nonprofit Excellence Awards. The winner of the North Idaho Large category is Gritman Medical Center and the winner of the North Idaho Small Category is the Snake River Community Clinic, Inc.

Retail

Etailz has hired Rebecca Goldman as a partner optimization associate, Max Sanders as warehouse coordinator I and Laura Blum as developer II.

Zak Designs has been named a recipient of the Home Style Award from the International Forum Design for their patented HydraTrak water bottle.
