Construction noise rattles Liberty Lake resident

Noise is sometimes a hard thing to deal with, particularly at 7 a.m. on a Friday morning.

A resident in the 1700 block of North Oakland called Liberty Lake police at 7:02 a.m. on Oct. 21 to ask if ongoing construction noise was in violation of the city’s noise ordinance, said police Chief Brian Asmus.

The ordinance does have an exception for noise created by construction, Asmus said, so there was no violation.
