Threat of landslide expected to keep U.S. Highway 2 closed in Central Washington through weekend

U.S. Highway 2 west of Waterville remains closed because of landslide threats in Porcupine Canyon.

A detour is in place.

A spokesman for the Washington Department of Transportation said the closure is expected to last through the weekend.
