Outdoor symphony concert in Liberty Lake moving indoors

The Spokane Symphony’s annual Labor Day weekend concert in Liberty Lake on Saturday, presented by the Friends of Pavillion Park, is being moved indoors because of predicted inclement weather.

Organizers, citing cooler temperatures in the forecast, are moving the performance from Pavillion Park to the Central Valley High School theater, 821 S. Sullivan Road.

The free concert, set to begin at 6 p.m., will feature the symphony performing light classics, show tunes and patriotic marches. A similar outdoor concert is scheduled in Spokane on Monday, at 6 p.m. in Comstock Park. As of Friday afternoon, there were no plans to change Monday’s concert.
