VANCOUVER, British Columbia – Princess Charlotte and Prince George are with their nanny as Prince William and his wife, Kate, tour Vancouver.

The kids are staying in Victoria as their parents visit other parts of British Columbia and Western Canada until Oct. 1

The British royal couple arrived Sunday in Vancouver where several hundred fans gave them a raucous welcome. Both appeared to be trying to shake hands with everyone they could.

The couple then stopped at an outreach center for women with drug and alcohol addictions who are pregnant or parenting.

A staff member introduced them to a five-year-old girl, who gave them teddy bears.

“George would love this,” William said as he accepted a bear in a black vest.

Charlotte, 1, is on her first overseas trip. George, 3, is on his second.
