Vegan pizzeria plans grand opening
Allie’s Vegan Pizzeria and Café is ready to open its new South Hill location following a fire at its North Side site in early June.
The new spot is at 1314 S. Grand Blvd., Suite 6.
Allie’s is slated to open at 11 a.m. Tuesday. During the grand opening celebration Oct. 8 and 9, Allie’s will be holding drawings for gift cards.
The original eatery at 4803 N. Nevada St. was expected to reopen by the end of the year. Now, it looks like repairs will take until spring.
Owner Atania Gilmore is hoping to be able to keep both locations once the Nevada Street eatery reopens.
Meanwhile, the menu at the new South Hill spot will be the same as at the first location.
Hours are: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday, 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.
