Accounting

Dane Lawson has been hired by Dingus, Zarecor & Associates P.L.L.C. as a document production specialist. Lawson has a master’s degree in Health Policy and Administration and two bachelor’s degrees from Washington State University.

Art

Urban Art Co-op has moved two blocks north, from 3017 N. Monroe St. to 3209 N. Monroe St. The move doubles the size of their studio and an outdoor space. Urban Art Co-op plans to offer classes, workshops and corporate events in their new location.

Education

Don Millikan has been named as North Idaho College’s new Executive Director for Human Resources. Millikan has most recently worked at Unitech Aerospace in Hayden as Director of Human Resources and holds a Senior Certified Professional Certification in Human Resources. He also has professional experience in retail, banking and manufacturing and currently is on several of North Idaho College’s industry advisory committees.

Washington State University has hired Mary Rezac to be the dean of the University’s Voiland College of Engineering and Architecture, effective July 1. Rezac currently works in the College of Engineering at Kansas State University, the same land-grand university WSU President Kirk Schulz oversaw as President before moving to Pullman.

Washington State University Spokane has announced Phyllis Eide as the recipient of the WSU Graduate School Mentor Academy Award for Excellence. As a Graduate Mentor Academy volunteer, Eide, an associate professor of nursing, provides support during graduate student exams and defenses. She plans to use the award to fund research on climate change.

Engineering

Gemma Puddy has joined The Langdon Group, a subsidiary of J-U-B Engineers, as a strategic communication and public involvement specialist after transferring from J-U-B’s office in Salt Lake City. Puddy specializes in strategic communication and graphic design.

Real Estate

RE/MAX Inland Empire has hired Christopher Wray to their sales team. Wray was born and raised in Tennessee and graduated from Northwest Christian High School as a valedictorian.

Windermere/Manito L.L.C. has added five new brokers to their office. Alicia Bani previously worked with Forte International in Falls Church, Virginia. Tyrese Patterson comes to Spokane from Victorville, California, where he was a Lieutenant with the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Ronald VanAusdal comes to Windermere after working for Microsoft as a videographer. Gina O’Byrne most recently worked for Keller Williams Real Estate in Spokane before moving to Windermere and Brian Zapotoky comes to the office from Moss Adams L.L.P., where he was a Senior Tax Accountant.

The Spokane Youth Sports Association has named its Board of Trustees for 2017-2018.
