Maggie Peters takes sixth, leads Whitworth to fourth place in Whitman Invite golf

Maggie Peters finished the Whitman Invitational with a two-round total of 16-over 160 in tying for sixth place and leading the Pirates to a fourth-place team finish at Wine Valley GC in Walla Walla on Sunday.

Whitworth was 99 over, 44 strokes back of Whitman, which won the seven-team tournament.

CC Spokane was fifth at 142 over.
