Residents can weigh in on Bigelow Gulch Road project

Residents living in the vicinity of Bigelow Gulch Road will have a chance Thursday evening to review a proposal to rebuild Bigelow Gulch Road.

County officials will be at the meeting from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at Fire Station No. 94 at Bigelow Gulch and Jensen roads.

Officials will give an overview of the segment four project from Old Argonne Road to Evergreen Road. The broader project with all of its segments runs from northeast Spokane to Forker and Progress roads in Spokane Valley.

Residents will have a chance to ask questions. Right-of-way purchases are among the issues concerning residents.

The project involves widening Bigelow Gulch Road in a series of different lane configurations along the route.
