Spokane Chiefs forward Jaret Anderson-Dolan has been named captain of Canada’s under-18 team for the International Ice Hockey Federation U18 World Championship in Slovakia, Hockey Canada announced Wednesday.

Anderson-Dolan just jumped from 40th to 21st in the NHL Central Scouting’s final rankings for the upcoming entry draft.

Anderson-Dolan, of Calgary, Alberta, had 39 goals and 76 points for the Chiefs during the 2016-17 season, becoming the fourth player in franchise history to reach at least 30 goals during his 17-year-old season.
