Free stuff to be given away to educators and artists

Free stuff that can be used by educators and artists will be available Saturday at an event designed to spare reusable materials from the landfill.

The International Interior Design Association is sponsoring the ZeroLandfill event, which will be held 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Floform, 5320 E. Sprague.

Interior designers and architects can donate materials, including glass, tile, stone, rubber, vinyl, wall covering, wood, carpet, laminate and fabric, according to an event news release. Artists, educators and crafters may take the materials for no charge.

Those who register for the event at zerolandfillspokane2017.eventbrite.com can enter 30 minutes early.
