Teen injured in Highway 57 crash north of Priest River
A teenager was injured in a crash early Wednesday afternoon on state Highway 57 north of Priest River when he missed a curve and hit an embankment, according to the Idaho State Police.
He was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Class southbound near milepost 26 shortly after noon when he missed a left-hand curve, drove off the road and hit an embankment. The driver, who was not wearing a seat belt, was ejected.
The highway was blocked for about an hour. The teen, whose name has not been released, was transported to Newport Medical Center.
