Recaps for the Seattle Mariners top affiliates for Thursday provided by team releases and wire reports.

Memphis 10, Tacoma (AAA) 4

TACOMA, Wash. – Breyvic Valera, Aledmys Diaz and Wilfredo Tovar each had three hits, as the Memphis Redbirds (72-38) beat the Tacoma Rainiers (55-56) 10-4 on Thursday.

Valera homered, doubled and singled, scoring a pair of runs while also driving home a couple. Diaz homered and singled twice, driving home three runs and scoring a couple.

Memphis took the lead in the first when it scored four runs, including a two-run single by Diaz.

The Redbirds later added runs in four additional innings to secure the victory.

Josh Zeid (7-2) got the win with 2 2/3 innings of scoreless, three-hit relief while Tacoma starter Christian Bergman (8-3) took the loss in the Pacific Coast League game.

Tulsa 8, Arkansas (AA) 3

LITTLE ROCK, Ark. – Jacob Scavuzzo hit a three-run home run in the fifth inning, leading the Tulsa Drillers (60-51) to an 8-3 win over the Arkansas Travelers (49-62) on Thursday.

The home run by Scavuzzo scored Errol Robinson and Kyle Garlick to give the Drillers a 6-3 lead.

The Drillers later tacked on a run in both the seventh and ninth innings. In the seventh, Garlick hit a sacrifice fly, scoring Robinson, while Matt Beaty hit an RBI single in the ninth.

Robinson tripled and singled twice, scoring three runs for Tulsa.

Tulsa right-hander David Hale (3-0) picked up a quality start and the win after allowing three runs on seven hits over six innings. Opposing starter Anthony Misiewicz (3-3) took the loss in the Texas League game after a rough outing in which he allowed five runs and seven hits over 4 1/3 innings.

Marcus Littlewood homered and singled, driving in two runs for the Travelers.

Lake Elsinore 5, Modesto (AA) 3

LAKE ELSINORE, Calif. – Rod Boykin hit a solo home run in the seventh inning, leading the Lake Elsinore Storm (52-59) to a 5-3 win over the Modesto Nuts (59-52) on Thursday.

Jose Castillo got Jordan Cowan to ground out with a runner on second to end the game for his first save of the season.

The home run by Boykin, part of a two-run inning, gave the Storm a 3-2 lead before Austin Allen hit an RBI single later in the inning.

The Storm tacked on another run in the eighth when Edwin Moreno hit an RBI single, bringing home Carlos Belen.

Modesto saw its comeback attempt come up short after Kevin Santa hit an RBI single, scoring Luis Liberato in the ninth inning to cut the Lake Elsinore lead to 5-3.

Trevor Frank (3-1) got the win in relief while Matt Walker (4-5) took the loss in the California League game.

Liberato homered and doubled, scoring two runs for the Nuts. Willie Argo homered and singled.

Clinton (Low-A) 4, Wisconsin 2

APPLETON, Wis. – Joe Rizzo doubled twice and singled as the Clinton LumberKings (47-60) beat the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers (44-64) 4-2 on Thursday.

Billy Cooke homered and singled with two RBIs for Clinton.

Up 1-0 in the second, Clinton extended its lead when Cooke hit a two-run home run.

The Timber Rattlers cut into the deficit in the sixth inning when Mario Feliciano and Devin Hairston hit RBI singles.

The LumberKings tacked on another run in the seventh when Johnny Slater hit a solo home run.

Clinton southpaw Nick Wells (5-8) picked up the win after allowing two runs on five hits over 5 1/3 innings. Opposing starter Braden Webb (4-6) took the loss in the Midwest League game after allowing three runs and five hits over two innings. Michael Koval pitched 1 2/3 scoreless innings for his third save of the season.

For the Timber Rattlers, Keston Hiura doubled and singled, also stealing a base.

Everett (Short-A) 11, Salem-Keizer 10

KEIZER, Ore. – Ronald Rosario homered and singled twice, scoring three runs while also driving in three as the Everett AquaSox (20-26) beat the Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (19-27) 11-10 on Thursday.

Johnny Adams homered and singled with two runs for Everett.

Matt Clancy got Malique Ziegler to ground out with a runner on first to end the game for his second save of the season.

Down 4-0 in the second, Everett cut into the lead when Adams hit a solo home run and Rosario hit a two-run home run.

Trailing 11-7, the Volcanoes cut into the deficit in the seventh inning when Ziegler hit a three-run triple.

Michael Suarez (5-2) got the win in relief while Luis Pino (0-2) took the loss in the Northwest League game.

Several Volcanoes chipped in at the plate, as five players had at least two hits. Kevin Rivera singled twice, driving in a run and also scoring one.

Despite the loss, Salem-Keizer is 4-2 against Everett this season.
