An unoccupied SUV parked at Hai’s Market on East Mission Avenue was pumped full of bullets Thursday evening.

Initial information indicates that three men were involved in an argument in the parking lot shortly after 6 p.m., said Spokane Police Department spokesman Officer John O’Brien. The car of one of the men was hit several times and the man received a superficial wound on his leg.

The victim was vague with officers and the investigation is ongoing, O’Brien said.

There were at least nine bullet holes visible on the passenger side of the SUV, not including three broken windows and at least one flattened tire.

Following leads from the incident, Spokane police located the vehicle they believed to have been involved at a house on Bridgeport Avenue near Crestline Street, police spokeswoman Cpl. Teresa Fuller said. Police and a SWAT team surrounded the house at roughly 9:15 p.m. No injuries have been reported.
