Jarrett Kingston received an offer from Washington State two days ago and the offensive/defensive lineman from Anderson High in California didn’t wait long to pull the trigger.

Kingston (6-5, 255 pounds) announced a verbal commitment to WSU on Twitter Wednesday night and intends to play on the offensive line for the Cougars. The Cougars recruited him as an offensive tackle, according to the Redding Record Searchlight.

Washington State was the first of three offers Kingston received in a three-day span. Nevada offered Tuesday night and San Diego State offered Wednesday. Kingston’s first offer came from Sacramento State.

The Anderson standout rolled up 56 tackles, 20 tackles-for-loss and 8.5 sacks as a junior, according to the Record Searchlight.
