Listen to the warnings

All the hoo-haw about climate change comes down to this: If I invited 100 professional fire inspectors to check my home for potential fire danger, and 97 of them said it has grave issues of a fire starting that would destroy the house and my whole family in it, I’d promptly take steps to work on those issues.

Similarly, maybe the 97 percent of climate experts are wrong about the dangers to our earth? Great! But in the meantime it’s foolish for anyone at all to brush off this issue of total importance to global future generations. How in the world can this be considered either a liberal or conservative matter?
