CMR not transparent

Cathy McMorris Rodgers demanded that everyone who attended her town hall meeting show identification proving they lived in the 5th Congressional District. Presumably, this was a way to keep “outsiders” from influencing the discussions. She demanded transparency from us. She wanted to know who we are.

However, when it comes to her own transparency, she refuses to tells us who influences her. She votes for and supports laws that conceal the identities of individuals and interests who “give” her money. A lot of this corrupting, dark money comes from outside the 5th District. McMorris Rodgers’ hypocrisy is plain for all to see.
